We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to manage PostgreSQL and NoSQL cloud databases, ensuring they run smoothly and securely. The position offers a salary of up to PHP 110,000 plus benefits. Its based in Diliman, Quezon City, with a hybrid work setup (mix of on-site and remote). The role requires night shifts and is initially a 1-year contract, with the possibility of renewal and regularization.

Role expectations:

  • Maintain and monitor PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring they are always operational with minimal downtime.
  • Work with development teams to design efficient database structures that support application performance.
  • Continuously optimize database performance by refining queries, indexes, and system configurations.
  • Oversee backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, and ensure data security and compliance.
  • Utilize cloud-native services like AWS or Azure to deploy and manage databases efficiently.
  • Automate routine database tasks, such as monitoring and scaling, to improve system efficiency.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php90,000.00 - Php110,000.00 per month
