Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Operations Manager to oversee and improve our HR operational systems, processes, and policies. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless HR functions, from employee onboarding and records management to HRIS administration and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in HR practices and operational management.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Systems & Processes:
- Manage and enhance the HRIS system, ensuring data integrity and reporting capabilities.
- Standardize and streamline HR operational processes and policies.
Employee Lifecycle Management:
- Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and promotions.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of employee documentation and records management.
Compliance & Audits:
- Ensure HR compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Lead internal audits and support external audits related to HR.
Payroll & Benefits Coordination:
- Collaborate with payroll and benefits teams to ensure accurate and timely execution.
- Assist in annual benefits enrollment and vendor coordination.
HR Analytics & Reporting:
- Generate and analyze HR metrics to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Provide regular reports on headcount, turnover, and other key HR indicators.
Policy Development & Communication:
- Maintain and update HR policies and the employee handbook.
- Communicate policy changes and updates effectively across the organization.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor a small team of HR operations specialists or coordinators.
- Collaborate with HR business partners, talent acquisition, and L&D teams to align operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Masters degree preferred).
- 6-10 years of progressive experience in HR operations, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of HR systems, labor laws, and operational best practices.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
